St Ambrose Old Boy Peter Saville, best known for his design of the Old Boys tie – and some other work for a few small album releases from Factory Records for Joy Division and New Order – is reported to be working with American hip hop artist Kanye West to design a new logo for him. Its early days for the pairing, but could we be seeing more of Mr Saville’s work gracing album covers soon?
Demolition work has started on Hale Barns Square, in preparation for a £30 million redevelopment scheme. The run down 1960s square, a lunch time favourite with many of the College’s Sixth Form, is to be replaced with a modern and attractive new Square.
